Mission Possible/Kenya

God has called 21 servants from Gurnee Community Church to be His hands and feet in Africa. We will try to visit several of the ministries of Paul & Leah Manyara, Simon & Margaret Muhota, and Ron and Ronda Addison. Some of those locations may include Green Pastures, Escarpment, and Maingi, all of which over-look the "Great Rift Valley." If time permits, we may be able to drive to Kasarani to check on that location as well. The tribe we will mosly be with are the Kikuyu Tribe. Joining us are Ron and Ronda Addison. They are missionaries who served in Kenya before returning to the U.S. for their new assignment as Project Coordinators for The Shepherd's Little Lambs, Africa and Moffat Bible College. They will be leading us on this amazing adventure for God.

The Missionaries that Gurnee Community Church Supports in Africa are Simon and Margaret Muhota of the AIC Church and Paul and Leah Manyara, who oversee the Moffat Bible College. These are both in Kijabe. We will be doing great work for God.

Less than 21 hours away....

Gracious, Tender and Loving Father,

Thank you for the plan you have put together, for the vision you placed into Carol's heart, and for each member you chose to fulfill your plan. We are honored. We are blessed. We are amazed at your greatness. And we will obey. Thy Kingdom come, Your will be done. Jesus, I invite you to fly with us. To sit amongst us. To speak to each of us, and tell us what is on your heart. Obedience is our priority. Love is our name. Father, calm our anxieties, relieve our stress, and keep us from restlessness. Hold our families, our children we leave behind. Give them peace. Prepare your children in Africa for this amazing plan that you have unfolded over the past few months. They are waiting for us. This plan, this mission IS possible. Your Love will guide us and protect us. We open our hearts for the unknown, for the least of these. Jesus, we desire to know you better, so that we can fully experience the blessings you have waiting for us in Africa.

Heavenly Father, it is with your Grace, your Peace, and your Amazing Love, through your son, Jesus Christ, that we surrender to you. We are yours.
